Hungary finished 2-0, with wins over Greece and Philippines, on the final day of International Lacrosse Showdown

In the first game, Hungary used a strong second half and overtime performance to defeat Greece 5-4. After being virtually shut down in the first half, Hungary outscored Greece 3-1 to force overtime. In overtime, Greece controlled the face-off, but quickly turned the ball over in the escalating rain. Hungary cleared easily and and found a wide open attackman in transition, but the Greek goalie made a phenomenal save to seemingly rob Hungary of the win. Greece would have a one last chance on offense, and developed a good back side look before Alex Bookout (1g, 2a) disrupted the shot, collected the loose ball, and cleared it to Dylan Portnoy. On the ensuing possession, Bookout beat his man and found a cutting Jason Rozembersky (1g) to seal the victory. Brian Connolly, Tristan Otto, and Tyler Martin each added a goal for Hungary. Oliver Hollo added an assist and 6 ground balls. Noah Johnson posted 6 saves behind the stalwart defense of Jonathan Frank, Mark Sund, Kristof Vitok, Oliver Hollo, and Colomon DeBor. George Rohonczy won 8 of 12 face-offs.
